AIGA Get Out the Women's Vote

In the summer of 2020, I was one of 50 women designers—including pioneers of design/design icons Paula Scher and April Grieman, two of my earliest influences—invited to participate in a global poster initiative celebrating the centennial of the ratification of the 19th Amendment. In partnership with the League of Women Voters, the goal was to motivate the American public to register and turn out to vote in the 2020 election.

The poster collection is currently being shown at museums and galleries across the county, including Carnegie Mellon’s Institute for Contemporary Art, The Houston Printing Museum, RISD Museum, Michigan State University, The University of Arkansas, San Diego Design Week, Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego, and the University of Michigan Stamps Gallery, among others. I’m currently working with Betsy Stirratt, Director of the Grunwald Gallery of Art, to bring the exhibit to IU in February and March, 2021.
